The rumours are true. Incredible.

Frequently asked questions
The 500RR is a lightweight, high-revving inline four, ideal for riders stepping up to their first larger-capacity sportsbike, equally at home commuting, carving a favourite road, or tackling a first track day. The 820RR is built for experienced riders after a genuine supersport experience, with a three-cylinder engine and race-bred chassis suited to fast weekend rides and regular track days alike.
Each engine is chosen to match its bike’s character. The 500RR’s inline four delivers smooth, linear power and the unmistakable high-revving sound the configuration is known for. The 820RR’s three-cylinder engine combines strong mid-range torque with genuine top-end performance, rewarding equally on the road and the circuit.
A LAMS-approved version of the 500RR is planned for the Australian market, allowing more riders to experience the character of its lightweight chassis and high-revving inline four.
Across the Sports range, less weight means quicker steering, easier direction changes and greater confidence through every corner, handling that rewards the rider rather than just posting a number on a spec sheet.
Racing is where motorcycles are pushed to their limits, and every lap provides data that refines engine performance, chassis balance, electronics and durability. That racing program feeds directly back into the Sports range, success on the track builds better motorcycles for the road. Right now, it’s the 820RR carrying that fight to the world stage, but the 500RR’s story on the track is yet to be written.
